Established in 2016, APTRAC is an international research group that aims to explore the cognitive aspects of translation. Our members come from diverse disciplinary and geographic backgrounds and investigate translation and cognition using a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including self-reports, task performance measures, psychometrics, eye tracking, and electroencephalography.
APTRAC is directed by a Scientific Committee elected by its members. The 2016 – 2018 committee is A/Prof Jan-Louis Kruger, Dr Haidee Kruger, and Dr Stephen Doherty. Membership is open to academic, student, professional, and industry members. All membership enquiries can be directed to the Committee Chair, A/Prof Jan-Louis Kruger.
